Fewer US elites to run 2020 Boston Marathon

Registration for the 2020 Boston Marathon opened on September 9 and officially closed on Wednesday, September 18. According to the Boston Athletic Association’s (BAA) website, due to field size limitations, 3,161 applicants were denied entry to the next running of the world’s oldest annual marathon.
